I painted this full sheet watercolor after returning to Los Angeles from my first trip to San Francisco. At that time the little bayside hamlet of Sausalito was incredibly fascinating. This scene depicts just a small bit of the (even then) dwindling maritime business, with the ever-present resulting entropy.
